Since remote work became everyday, "room for a home office" is one of the most common search factors among buyers. Yet that third room is usually shown as storage, empty, or furnished with a guest bed no one sleeps in. Showing the room as a working office can be the difference that gets the right buyer to book a viewing.
What a selling work room needs
- A desk at or near the window — daylight is the workspace's greatest luxury
- A proper work chair — it signals the room works full-time
- A shelf or storage showing that work things have somewhere to live
- Something alive: a plant, a lamp with warm light
Create the office digitally
Does the home have an undefined room — an oversized walk-in wardrobe, the hobby room, "the room with the stuff"? Empty it, photograph it and furnish it digitally as a work room. In STAIGE you choose the home-office room type and describe what you want: "desk by the window, light chair, a bookshelf". In a minute the listing has the room half the buyers are looking for.
If the room is already furnished as something else
A guest room can stay a guest room in one photo and be shown as a work room in the next — two versions of the same photo show the room's flexibility. Label the images as digitally staged and the message is honest: this is how the room can be used.
